Kayaking

This is a water sport which involves the participants to use a small boat (kayak) to move around the water. It certainly is a fun day out! Here at Casa Pino Solo we provide the canoes and off you can go to Lake Iznajar and have an enjoyable day with your family and friends. We love to accompany our guests to help and provide life jackets for your safety.

‘We have recently returned home after spending a week at Casa Pino Solo.

This was our second visit and our hosts Lisa and Nigel made sure we had a really great holiday once again.One of the highlights of our holiday was to spend some time at the lake at Iznajar using the kayak canoes provided by Lisa and Nigel.

The lake is just a 10 minute drive from the complex and Nigel took both the one-man and two-man canoes down to the beach and helped us to get set up.My wife and teenage daughter were a little unsure about canoeing as they had never tried anything like it before but after putting on their life jackets they ventured out onto the water, accompanied by myself and Nigel.

After a few minutes getting used to the canoes, we soon began to get the hang of them and began paddling around the lake.Our teenage daughter soon forgot any doubts about being on the water and quickly became proficient at controlling the single kayak while myself and my wife enjoyed paddling around in the two-man canoe. After a while we swapped over and each had a go in both types of canoe.

We spent a really enjoyable afternoon at the lake and took quite a few photos, some of which can be seen on the Casa pino solo website.We all enjoyed the canoeing so much that we persuaded Nigel to take the canoes down to the lake a second time before we left.
