Odegas Alvear is the third oldest winery in Spain. It was founded in 1729 by Don Diego de Alvear; nowadays it is still a family business, run by the 8th generation- It is a traditional winery where the quality of its wines endures since 18th century. The wines of this winery are recognized all around the world, and the best oenological experts know this wines. Alvear tour is the best complement in a Cordoba tours.
Visit Description
The visit takes place through several areas of the Bodega.

Lagar: you will get know everything about our best and predominant variety of grape: The Pedro Ximenez.

Fermentation place:you will admire the enormuos stainless steel tanks used for the monitored fermantation process.

Bodega Monumental The main cellar with 5.500 barrels made of American oak. Soleras and criaderas process. The visit will enjoy taking pictures of this typical place.

Bottling line, where 8000 bottles are bottled per hour.

Tasting wine Fino C.B (dry), Festival Pale Cream (semi - sweet), Pedro Ximenez 1927 (sweet), with olives and bread sticks. The features of the wines will be explain during this tasting.
Languages English, Spanish, French and German.

1 hour 30 minutes approximately (we can adapt ourselves according to the gropus schedule)

Payment Conditions
Cash after completing of the visit. Bank transfer or cheque Vouchers are acepted and them we will send invoice. Invoices will be send by Bacus Travel & Tours, S.L; CIAN: 14979-3 If any of the extra services are contrated, a prepayment of 25% of whole sum will be needed at least one week before the date service.
Delay
The guide will wait for the groups 45 minutes. Cancellations:
